The ARA Foundation™ (ARAF™) is a registered 501(c)(3).
It is a separate entity from the ARA™, which is a registered 501(c)(4). Both are non-profit entities.

The goals of the ARA™ and the ARAF™ are very complimentary, but are structured differently based upon the differences between their primary goals and activities. 

Please be aware: Merchandise purchases and memberships to the ARA™ are not usually tax deductible.
 

DONATIONS made to the ARAF™ are fully tax deductible, as the funds collected by ARAF™ are never used for lobbying activities.

While the ARA™ lobbies for sensible gun law reform, the ARAF™ is the arm of our organization that does community outreach and performs education.

A tax-deductible donation to the ARAF™ supports the Foundation's
important work such as:

• Advocating for / participating in mental health support for survivors of gun violence.

• Educational programs on gun safety in communities.

• Sportsmanship grant opportunities for other NPOs which also support and advocate for responsible gun ownership, non-violence, or community improvement.
